Cryptolepis sanguinolenta
Cryptolepis sanguinolenta is a member of the genus Cryptolepis. An extract from the root is traditionally used in West Africa to treat malaria.[1] [2] The plant also has potential for treating Type II diabetes[3] and is considered a powerful antibiotic.[4]
